"Interiors & Backyards"
In the Summer of
1977, Robert Kipniss created a series of four lithographs, each that
have "distinct effects both apart and together, individually
complete yet next to each other fulfilling a more complicated
effort", to quote the artist. These four images together
became known as the "Interiors & Backyards" suite.
We are
fortunate enough to have two of the four images, along with complete
documentation, and the hardbound folio box. The documentation
and box will accompany whichever piece sells first. Our
advice? Purchase both works, as they truly belong together. |
